Zhong Ying, hailing from Longyan, Fujian, graduated with a master's degree from the École des Beaux-Arts de Nantes Saint-Nazaire in 2023. She currently lives and works in Shenzhen, China. As an artist focusing on personal history, her work centers on documenting individual histories. Influenced deeply by anthropology, she incorporates anthropological research logic into her art, presenting her personal history through unique video installation art.

Zhong Ying firmly believes that "preserving individual memories" can render one's existence eternal. Therefore, her works often feature materials with a temporal quality that are transparent and richly textured. When presenting personal history, she consistently employs highly personalized narrative techniques and expressive methods. Deliberately blurred lenses add a layer of mystique to her works. Her creations not only showcase individual histories and inner worlds but also, through artistic expression, enable the audience to profoundly experience those moments buried by time and memory.
